More than photographs, memories Iโll treasure forever
Sonia has such a unique way of telling peopleโs stories through her photography. From the moment we met, she was so easy, warm and fun to work with, and she instinctively knew where to take us and how to capture the moments so naturally.
What I love most is how beautifully she captured Cocoโs personality and the closeness of our bond. The little details, the way she looks at me, the joy on her face, the way she melts into my cuddles, somehow Sonia managed to capture all of the things that make our relationship so special.
These are so much more than beautiful photographs to me. I know that one day, when Coco is no longer here, these will be the photographs I return to again and again. Iโll be able to look at them and feel like I can touch her fur, see her beautiful soul and hear her little smile. Iโll remember exactly how it felt to have her beside me and the special connection we share.

We had such a great experience with Sonia and Jarrod. From the moment we met them, they made the whole shoot feel relaxed, natural and genuinely enjoyable. Neither of us are particularly comfortable in front of a camera, but they made it feel completely effortless.
They work so well together and have a really lovely way of capturing both the bigger moments and the small, candid ones in between. The photos turned out beautifully and feel natural, personal and very us.

Incredibly talented and wonderful human
My little family had the privilege of having Sonia capture our maternity photos. As someone who feels generally shy in front of a camera I cannot praise her enough. Her warm and kindness made me feel instantly comfortable to the point. We almost did not notice she was there. Not only was the experience itself wonderful filled with laughs and new special memories for our little family but the photos itself stunning captured emotion that is raw and real in a way that very few photographers can. Fun fun fun!
I came across a post from Sonia on a local page looking for couples to do a shoot for her portfolio, already seeing previous work on her page I knew the photos and experience would be amazing. The morning with Sonia was so much fun! She helped us get comfortable in front of the camera and to just be ourselves. At times, Sonia stayed back to capture the raw, in-between-moments, you wouldnโt know were being photographed. The images are just so beautiful and perfectly capture the love and playfulness between my fiancรฉ and I, and will be a reminder of our engagement period and what the future holds for us. Weโre definitely going to get some printed for an album and to frame!

Easy, Comfortable, and Great Results
Iโve had a few photo shoots with Sonia Kaniaโsome just me, and one with my dogโand they all turned out great. Iโm not usually very comfortable in front of a camera, but Sonia made it easy. She gives clear direction without making it feel awkward, and sheโs good at catching natural moments.
She was also really patient with my dog, which I appreciated. The photos of us together are some of my favorites.
Everything from booking to getting the finished photos was straightforward and professional. Iโm really happy with the results and would definitely recommend her if you want quality photos without any fuss.
Beautiful photos and a relaxed experience
I usually get stiff and awkward in front of a camera, but Sonja made me feel comfortable straight away. She even turned off the shutter sound so it didnโt feel like a photoshoot at all. It just felt like spending time with a friend.
