I recently had family photos done with Brie as my photographer. This included my 1.5 year old twin boys and my dog. The boys did not nap and were not in the best mood. The first being my family and 3 dogs. The next session was for my dog’s end of life. Another for maternity photos. (I flew across the country so she could capture my pregnancy!) She picked the perfect spot FULL of wildflowers!! She was sooo mindful of the nature and she made us feel instantly comfortable with her vibe, her direction, and her encouragement!! My fiancé and I had never had a professional shoot before and were a little nervous going into this shoot! But Brie made us feel so, so comfortable and relaxed. Our session was filled with laughter, love and so much fun. Brie knew exactly how to guide us in poses and have our personalities and quirks show through her photos. When I had a mishap with my dress halfway through the session, she was there digging through her bag for a safety pin and helping me brainstorm how to best fix it. First off I will say that, every stage of our photo shoot was perfect: the planning, contracting, communication, meeting up, and post session follow up. My daughter has Autism, so things like this are unpredictable and challenging. Bri was patient, creative, kind, compassionate while keeping the fun and creativity flowing. I cannot say enough good things about Brie! We had a family photo session in Boulder with our 3 month old. Our poor little girl was cold from the unexpected weather, and she cried the entire session - I was so worried the photos wouldn’t turn out! But Brie and her hubby were so kind and patient. They directed us how to stand and walk and where to look. Her hubby carried our diaper bag and had a burp cloth and blanket always at the ready, as well as treats for our dog. They’re a great team! And OMG the photos turned out AMAZING. She managed to capture our little girl’s serene face in between her tears. You wouldn’t even know she was having a meltdown! Brie was so creative in her poses - beyond just the standard smiling pics, she got some truly unique and creative images that will live on our walls in our home for years to come. I don’t even know where to begin. I remember starting my research journey a little over a year in advance for our wedding photographer. I came across multiple photographers on Instagram, and reviewed every single one of their profiles as well as their websites.
