We struck very lucky with Jonny, finding him at quite a late stage before our Civil Ceremony on 18 July. We agreed a short 1 hour photoshoot, with both digital pics and B&W film images, for an incredibly competitive price.
An online meeting just ahead of the date enabled us to agree a plan of action and the style of pics we were after, which was really useful.
Jonny arrived at the venue in good time, introduced himself to us and our witnesses, and we all enjoyed relaxed conversation ahead of the ceremony starting.
Jonny worked discreetly and unobtrusively taking pics of the ceremony while it was taking place, and some more posed pics immediately afterwards before leaving the venue.
As agreed we then moved on to another outdoor space close by where he shot a good number of informal and relaxed pics of the two of us and our witnesses. He was very light touch in his direction, and had plenty of great ideas to put us at ease with having our pics taken.
We should also mention that this was in a busy public space, on a sunny summer Saturday afternoon in a popular location. A measure of Jonny's skill and expertise is that this isn't at all evident in the images he captured for us - there are no background distractions to us as the main attraction!
All in all it was a good experience for us - informal and relaxed, and we've ended up with some excellent, candid pictures recording our day, which is exactly what we wanted.
In fact, the full album of edited pics was received late the same night, so Jonny really did a great job for us and put a lot of effort and care into the assignment.
Feedback from friends and family who we've shared the images with has been 100% positive!
We wouldn't hesitate in recommending him to others as a wedding or special event photographer. He clearly loves his work and it shows in the resulting images. Totally professional, and a really nice guy.
We're now just waiting to receive the B&W film images once developed, and looking forward to seeing the results!

Couldn’t be happier!
We have had such a positive experience with Jonny as our photographer for our engagement shoot and our wedding. When we reached out, he got in touch quickly and was excited about the wedding and friendly and professional in communication. We had never had professionally photos before so he explained everything clearly without pressure. For the engagement shoot, he made us feel comfortable and made it enjoyable. He explained what he was doing, made us feel relaxed and picked interesting places to go to. He gave us good guidance that didn’t feel forced. We got the pictures from the engagement shoot back the next day even though we were told it would be a week and the pictures were really nice and great quality.
For the wedding, Jonny was happy to spend time to discuss our plans for the day and made helpful suggestions with no pressure. He was happy to go along with our sometimes crazy ideas! During the day itself, we hardly noticed him around the but he captured all of the important moments plus extra ones we hadn’t even realised. He gave us a selection of pictures back during the wedding breakfast which was amazingly fast and so fun to look at already. We got the rest of the pictures within less than a week so we were able to look at them on honeymoon which was really special. Again the pictures were amazing quality and really beautiful.

Booked Jonny a couple of weeks before our wedding! One of the best decisions we made. Jonny went above and beyond to capture the special moments of our day. I mentioned to Jonny that I wanted memories with my grandma who is 92 and he made sure that there were multiple moments with my grandma. Would recommend Jonny to anybody. Jonny was brilliant on the day, capturing beautiful, authentic moments with ease & efficiency (which is exactly what we wanted!) The day ran smoothly & the photo shoots were great fun.
