I did a branding session with Julie to support my lashing business and she did amazing! She had lots of different ideas for pictures to involve all the tools I use, some action shots of me doing my thing, pictures of my area and salon. I wasn’t really sure what to expect going into a branding session but it was all together fun and she got some pretty awesome business shots! I highly recommend Julie for all your branding needs!

A boudoir shoot is soemthing I really wanted to do for my fiancé. I was excited and a little nervous. Little did I know how empowering it would be for me! Julie’s photographs made me feel so beautiful. What was initially a gift for my future husband turned into a gift for both of us. I can’t recommend her enough!

I have always wanted to do a boudoir shoot, but always made excuses as to why it wasn’t the right time. However, I am so happy I got over my insecurities and booked a shoot with Julie! Julie is truly amazing at what she does, and made the experience a great one. She helped me pick out my outfits, and gave me tips on how to pose. Julie made me feel confident, and comfortable during the shoot. She also had hair and makeup set up so I didn’t have to think about a thing. It truly was a 10/10 experience, and I can’t wait to book with Julie again!

I went into my session classically nervous as most people are. JM was easy to talk to, comfortable and knowledgeable in her craft. I attempted to keep my hopes in check for the final product. This had nothing to do with JM’s professionalism and skill but with my own self-esteem/worth. I was pleasantly surprised that I loved them so much it was difficult to narrow it down! Highly recommend!

The experience, the product, the confidence. All of this makes it so worth it! I went into the experience just wanting to have some fun & maybe gain some confidence. I’m comfortable with my body, but have insecurities as everyone does. Julie was absolutely, incredibly amazing. She not only made me forget about every insecurity I had, but showed me through my pictures that these insecurities are so much larger in my head. She also went out of her way to draw on my interest & creative ideas to make truly unique images & poses. I went in not knowing what to expect & a little nervous & left with a whole new outlook on myself. I just received my album of images & I’m honestly so blown away with how beautiful it is. Buckle in friends - I have a lot to share.... Every girl that I've talked to who was interested in doing a boudoir session was hesitant or scared for the same reasons. We're all concerned about posing, deciding what to wear, and the biggest fear is feeling awkward throughout the whole experience and then seeing it on your face in pictures! I had each of those concerns and after doing a boudoir session with Julie... They feel silly to reflect on! I'll explain... When booking a boudoir session with Julie, she provides a guide that walks you through every detail you could want which is super helpful for a person like me who has 100 questions. What I found REALLY useful in the guide was how to emotionally/mentally prepare. Julie's guide, alone, made me feel like it was OK to both feel and be vulnerable. After reading the guide, I knew without a doubt that my comfort would be paramount, and Julie would help me feel my best self in front of the camera. Julie also provides prompts and a survey to help you decide what the vibe of your boudoir session will be (romantic, risqué, quirky, and so on!), whether there's any part of your body you would like highlighted, and some unique ideas around wardrobe. This was valuable to me because it helped me visualize myself in different scenarios and it became clear to me which options naturally made me excited. I opted for a mix of flirty (I brought a deck of UNO cards for some pictures!) and sexy. Since I had already spent the time thinking about how I imagined myself in those moments, it felt easier to actually be in them during the photo shoot. The day of my session, Julie helped me narrow down the outfits I had chosen. She was thoughtful about the vibe I wanted and provided encouragement to wear the outfits that made me excited. She also had a speaker to play music and that's a huge part of relaxing for me! She walked me through some general guidance for boudoir photography (like pointing your toes!) and kept me busy trying different poses. In posing, Julie had very specific instructions which I really appreciated since it removed the guessing. Once I was feeling more warmed up, Julie encouraged me to try new things and was receptive to any ideas I had. I walked away from the session feeling so good about myself and an unreal level of excitement about how the pictures were going to look. That excitement continued to build as Julie started sharing sneak peaks. Now that I've seen my full album, I am just so unbelievably thankful for all that Julie did! She took so many incredible photos (my ego was SWELLING with each picture) and it was challenging to narrow it down to 23 (23!!??). So now, I have 23 pictures looking my sexiest and flirtiest to remember my 20s, this era of life, and who I am today. Julie made that possible with her support before, during, and after the session and I can not recommend her enough to anyone interested in a boudoir session. Can't wait for another one in my 30s!
