As a mother I cherish that capturing life’s beautiful moments is invaluable. Being behind the camera allows me to witness enchanting connections with people. The love and laughter shared with families create magical memories that are truly special.
In 2020 my boyfriend asked me to marry him at Yellowstone. When we decided to get married we knew that we wanted intimate and not elaborate. We decided on Sandpoint/Sagle for the area we wanted to say I do. We looked high and low for a photographer, and while some were beautiful they didn’t fit the boxes we wanted to check off. We wanted a connection. I messaged Rachael in the fall of 2020 and we decided to do a trial run on family photos since she said wedding photos weren’t her main gig. When we met, it felt like we met a friend. She was so sweet and had innovative ideas. I loved the enthusiasm. She also noticed my hunch and encouraged me to put my shoulders back. She has a photographer eye, that made the little imperfections drift away. She made my daughter feel at ease and we loved our photos. We decided to go with her for the wedding pictures and it was the best decision ever. She made me feel absolutely beautiful, captured our daughter in the moment and ensured that her love was just as important as the I do moment. She captured my husband asking my daughter to be his daughter with a ring to love her forever as well. I don’t know what else to say, besides she sees the love and is able to capture it on camera so you can look back for the rest of your life and smile. If you’re looking for your love to be on record for a lifetime, she’s your gal. She will get it.
