edit invoice after partial payment

being able to edit the invoice after a partial payment was made. I sometimes have clients that don't pay just the retainer, they add some on and I'm not able to edit that after the payment has been marked paid. Or being able to add a discount on the invoice after a partial payment was made. There's not way to edit tax, discount, retainer, or even the line items after payment was partially made.

Yes please! Would love this feature. Most of my clients pay the retainer and thereafter they make monthly payments until the balance is paid off. Would love to be able to deduct these payments from the balance
I was just going to submit a request about this! Thank you! Being able to split payments is so useful I had to do this 80% of the time last year and having to make a whole new invoice for the same client is a hassle. Multiple clients had 3-4 invoices at once because we had to split their payments
Agreed! Almost all clients pay with installments. It would be nice to be able to add a date, type of payment and the amount.
Yes I always edit the retainer adding what they paid me it’s a pain! But then the customer wants to see the invoice with the payments
