Avoiding Duplicate Uploads in Large Galleries

I need a way to avoid duplicate uploads when uploading large (wedding) galleries. If there was a way to have a pop-up when photos with the same file name are trying to upload that asks if you want to "skip duplicate uploads" or "allow duplicate uploads," it would avoid this issue and save me HOURS.

My internet isn't the best and sometimes fails while in the middle of uploading hundreds of photos. They don't ever upload in order. So, there isn't an easy way to go back in and upload the rest without deleting all my progress and starting over.
