Don’t reset to the app’s home screen when I switch apps

I’m not sure if your app state consumes too much memory, or doesn’t store the current state, but when I use the iPhone’s app switcher to check something in another app, then come back to yours, your app resets back to its home screen, losing my progress on what I was doing. Absolutely infuriating.
