Such a fun little shoot with my girlies. Lexi had so much patience with Rae who is NOT a fan of cameras and even though she screamed the whole time she was able to get some amazing shots! Thankful for these special moments captured!

My fiancé (boyfriend at the time lol) had booked a shoot for our anniversary and ended up surprising me with a proposal! Our photographer, Lexi, was a wonderful person, talking to us through everything, making us comfortable, and kept us laughing. She also captured every moment of the proposal without me noticing. Lexi is such an amazing photographer, she doesn’t only brings moments to last forever by capturing them but makes it fun and comfortable for all of us.. Works around everyone schedule and is super friendly, we been with her for over a year, went from Pregnancy reveal pics to family pics with my our new baby.!! Lexii easily created an experience Alyssa and I will never forget. While I have always been comfortable in front of a camera, Alyssa was new to it. Lexii made a space where even out of her comfort zone Alyssa was able to find a sense of comfort and it has given her a new confidence around how she expresses herself. We love the intimacy between us she was able to capture, as well as the love we share. I couldn't recommend her enough, especially as a queer couple. It can be so hard to find photographers who are accepting and welcoming of the queer community and Lexii truly stepped up as an ally for us.

I usually get a lot of anxiety around family photos—trying to get everyone dressed, smiling, and still at the same time feels like an impossible task. My oldest tends to elope and has a really hard time sitting still, and now my youngest wants to do everything big brother does, which adds to the chaos. But Lexii at Shutter Lapse Photography made the entire experience feel calm, easy, and even enjoyable. She didn’t rush us at all—in fact, she patiently waited when things got a little wild and managed to capture some truly beautiful moments in between the chaos. Some of my favorite shots ended up being of the boys just running and playing together, totally in their element. Lexii has such a gentle and understanding way about her, and that made all the difference for our family. If you’re a parent who worries about how your little ones will handle a photoshoot, I can’t recommend her enough. She gave us more than just photos—she gave us a peaceful memory, which is honestly priceless.
