Incomplete Wedding Coverage
We booked Jocelyn and June for our wedding on October 11th, 2025. Prior to that she did our engagement photos on July 21st, 2025, which was a fantastic experience and the photos turned out wonderful - no complaints there. Unfortunately we did not have the same experience for our wedding day which was extremely disappointing. Prior to the wedding not only was she lacking major communication after several attempts to reach her but we were also told by Jocelyn that we would receive sneak peaks the day after the wedding, which we could not wait to receive. We woke up the next morning and waited a few hours for the sneak peaks but never received anything nor did Jocelyn reach out to us. We ended up getting our sneak peaks at 9:30pm that following Monday. Moving forward we were told we will receive our FINAL gallery early December. Jocelyn reached out to us November 26th, 2025 to let us know the following week we will get our final gallery. It's now Friday, December 5th, 2025 at 8:30pm and we still have not received anything from Jocelyn nor again have we heard from her. We reached out and she said it takes a long time to download over 700 photos, taking that into consideration we told her we understood. We then received our FINAL gallery December 8th, 2025 at 9:20pm. Communication prior to this could have been better, instead Jocelyn kept giving us false hope on when we will receive our gallery. Going through the gallery we there were some beautiful images, but the overall experience and final product was extremely disappointing. It contains a LARGE number of DUPLICATES and limited variety in angles and locations. Many important moments were not captured like previously discussed. Most of our photos were taken int he same location despite the venue offering multiple areas. Our first dance had over 181 near duplicate images taken from essentially the same angle and distance, Jocelyn did not involve herself on the dance floor as she stood from a distant corner and took photos, resulting in the photos being from far away and barely being able to see the faces of myself or husband. There were also concerns in how Jocelyn showed up to the wedding, looking unprofessional, and on many occasions throughout the day was noticeably absent, including during times when important candid moments should have been captured. Additionally we paid for 8 hours of coverage and the photographer left early, resulting in no photo coverage of the later portion of the evening. We had paid Jocelyn to arrive at 12pm and depart at 8pm. Meanwhile our final gallery shows the last photo was taken at 6:30pm since that was when our first dance was and those were the final photos in the gallery. We have no photos after the first dance and the photographer was no where to be fine until 7:30 when she finished eating and informed us she has captured everything for the day and will be leaving now. We have reached out to Jocelyn with our concerns and she offered to take back the final gallery and make revisions if we gave her until December 19th, which we gladly accepted since we were looking forward to these photos. In hopes Jocelyn would be able revise the gallery and potentially include more photos, since the gallery included 474 photos, ALL photos had 3-4 duplicates and like previously mentioned our first dance photos had 181 duplicates. Resulting in about 80 photos total. Jocelyn in the end did not revise our gallery and informed us she will be stepping back from her business come 2026. Personally, I am not one to ever write a review... but this was a once in a lifetime moment and we were fully confident Jocelyn could capture it but in the end the experience with Jocelyn fell short and she undelivered.
