Couldn’t have picked a better photographer to trust to capture our first month with our first baby in our first home. We will cherish these pictures for generations! These were supposed to be maternity pictures and they turned to in home newborn. Makayla was beyond accommodating and rescheduled on my time without hesitation. Her patience and even help with us soothing our newborn during the shoot was beyond what we could of asked of her. So thankful to have found her! 12/10

Makayla did such an amazing job capturing our little family. I will cherish these photos forever and I can’t wait to hang them up on the wall! The photos turned out better than I could have ever expected - I was nervous it was going to be too windy and cloudy but somehow she made the wind look like a paid actor and the lighting & editing was stunning. Makayla was absolutely wonderful to work with. I reached out to her in my last few months of pregnancy to set up a newborn/ family shoot. She responded quickly, and was flexible with scheduling as we were waiting for baby’s arrival. Makayla graciously made the trek out to Kingsville to do the shoot in our home. She captured so many beautiful moments of us, as a new family of 4, that we will cherish forever. Thank you, Makayla, for sharing your gift of photography with us. Makayla’s creative mind is what we all need in a photographer. My son and I recently took more photos with her on the beach, but they looked nothing like your typical beach photoshoot. It was moody, creative, and intimate. At one point, I was breastfeeding my baby in tall grass and when I saw the edited photo afterwards, I was in tears. I’m so grateful to have such sweet memories captured by Makayla.

Makayla turned our super windy beach engagement shoot into a beautiful piece of art! We were immediately obsessed with our photos and we still get compliments over a year later! Makayla made the shoot so fun and relaxed and casual, I wish we lived in Corpus so we could book her all the time!

I booked Makayla for a spur of the moment anniversary shoot and she did not disappoint. Not only did she make my boyfriend and I feel comfortable during the whole process but she took time to understand our story and get to know the two people behind the pictures. Wow. These pics are so amazing. I couldn’t be happier with the turn out of these images. Our son has special needs and she was so amazing with him and our family in whole. Photos are all about preserving memories, and I love that I was able to receive back my gallery that contained the beautiful posed and smiling photos but also the incredibly beautiful candid photos that melt my heart. Makayla took mommy & me photos for us and she handled the camera & photoshoot so well! I was worried my toddlers attitude would get me only a few good photos but Makayla proved me wrong! I will forever cherish my photos from her. :)

Makayla took our family photos a couple of years ago, and they remain some of our most prized possessions. For two people who don’t feel particularly comfortable posing and a young toddler, I didn’t have high hopes but wanted to snag some photos of our daughter at such a precious age. Makayla made us feel SO comfortable and was able to turn the chaos of our season of life into beautiful family keepsakes. She’s lovely to work with and super talented.

I recommend Makayla 10 times over! She is the sweetest and most fun person to work with! My husband and I went to her for the first time without ever doing a photoshoot prior and from start to finish it was an amazing experience, we even booked her again 2 months later for our elopement shoot because we loved the outcome so much. Makayla asks for any inspiration pictures you have in mind, the vibe you are going for, and makes sure you are getting all the photos you want. I felt comfortable to whole time especially with her guidance on posing and her kindness through it all, even asking her advice for outfits and what she recommends or doesn't recommend! She has given me the dreamiest pictures that I will be able to look back on and share forever. I am so grateful I found her she is truly the best! THANK YOU MAKAYLA!!

As a photographer myself I find it very hard to trust other photographers to do my photos! It’s hard to let the reigns go and it’s even harder to get in front of a camera. Makayla has done an incredible job doing our family portraits not once but twice now. Always going above and beyond and inspiring me in my own career. Her lighting and editing techniques are perfection. Her ability to go with the flow and be easy going when we have three wild children (and sometimes grumpy ones) helps lower the anxiety and pressure so so much. She has a very keen talent for making your photos look like a movie. Her work is high quality on top of being beautiful. I was able to get huge prints made of some of our hoots and the quality was incredible.
