Absolutely IN LOVE!
Where do I even start?! Jess did both my maternity & birth photography sessions–and from one photographer about another–she was amazing at both–for such different reasons.
While I love to be behind the lens taking photos, I am so awkward in front of it–luckily, Jessica knew exactly how to make it not awkward and helped my husband and I through the session flawlessly. Those were the first professional photos that we did together and they are some of my favorite memories.
Shortly after our mat session, it was time to have a baby–unexpectedly! We had planned for baby to be at home but circumstances arose and we had to travel an hour away to deliver. Jessica met us at the house before we left to help us get on the road, and then a few hours later she made the long drive to the hospital for my birth.
She captured amazing pictures of the support I received in labor, moments that I didn't remember, as well as my daughter being born and the immediate moments following. I barely noticed she was in the room as well! Though I do have one memory of her ballet leaping to get a better shot point on the couch (That’s peak photographer commitment!)–while I didn't laugh out loud then, I absolutely LOVE that fun memory from when labor was hard.
