From the beginning Carly was fantastic at communicating and giving ideas for our photo shoot. The morning of our engagement shoot was so relaxed and Carly made it so comfortable for us that it felt like we were just hanging out with an old friend. The end results were so good and exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait for our next session and capturing our families memories with her help for so many years to come.

I booked a session with Carly to photograph my son as he was heading to his freshman year of high school. She spent a lot of time preparing for the shoot which was awesome. She scouted the perfect location. Once we were there, she did a great job getting him to come “out of his shell” and capture his true personality. The pictures turned out beautiful and I will cherish them forever. I will definitely be a repeat client.

One thing I really appreciate is quick replies, and as soon as I sent my inquiry Carly messaged me! She was such a great photographer, helped get my 2 year old daughter to smile and laugh, and made our shoot feel so special. She didn’t rush and was really sweet/funny. My husband and I both said this was our best experience with a photographer. Thank you Carly! We will definitely book another session soon!🫶🏽

We had the absolute best experience with her! She did an at-home session for my fiancé and I, and somehow captured exactly the cozy, homey, intimate vibe we wanted she even included our pets, which made the photos feel that much more special and personal to us. 🥹 My fiancé and I are definitely the type to feel awkward in front of a camera , but she made us feel SO comfortable from the very beginning . Nothing felt forced or overly posed. She made the whole session feel natural, fun, and honestly like we were just hanging out at home while she captured us being ourselves. She was also incredibly sweet, patient, and kind throughout the entire experience. You can tell she genuinely cares about making the people she photographs feel comfortable and welcomed!! I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer — whether you’re a couple, a family, want to include your fur babies, lgbtq+, or just want some beautiful photos of yourself. Rest assured, you’re going to feel welcomed, comfortable, and completely at ease in front of her camera! So grateful to have these memories captured in our home and to have photos that feel so authentically us 🫶🏼

There truly aren’t enough words to express how grateful I am for Carly Micole’s Photography. From the moment our session began, Carly made my entire family feel completely at ease. As a mom of three boys—including my son with autism—I know firsthand that family sessions don’t always go exactly as planned. But Carly never expected perfection. She followed my son wherever he needed to go, met him exactly where he was, and allowed him to simply be himself. She never made us feel rushed or stressed, and because of that, she captured the most genuine moments of our family. Somehow, she managed to capture all three of my wild boys in the most beautiful, authentic, and incredibly aesthetic way. Every single photo feels effortless, full of joy, and completely us. But what touched me the most… was what she did for me. Do you know how hard it can be to look at yourself after becoming a mom? To spend so much of your life being everything for everyone else—a mother, a wife, the one who carries the mental load—and then wonder if the woman underneath is still there? Somewhere along the way, I stopped feeling photogenic. I stopped recognizing the woman in the pictures. Carly… No one has ever captured me the way you did. For the first time since becoming a mom, I looked at pictures of myself and didn’t immediately notice everything I wanted to change. I saw a woman who looked comfortable. Comfortable being a mother. Comfortable being a wife. Comfortable being myself. And somehow… I also saw someone who looked feminine, beautiful, and confident again. That is a gift I can’t even put into words. These are so much more than family pictures. They are memories I’ll treasure forever, and they reminded me of a version of myself I honestly thought I’d lost. Your talent is extraordinary, but it’s your heart that makes your work unforgettable. Thank you for giving my family something we’ll cherish for generations.
